Due to a high volume of requests received by the Federal government, and due to limited funding, we were not successful in securing a grant under the Canada Summer Jobs Program this year.

Under the Canada Summer Jobs program, the JCCCM has applied for funding for a youth hire this summer.  If successful, the position will be for a 9-week period, full time, beginning in June.

The ideal candidate will be under 30 years of age, fluent in French, Japanese and English, and be comfortable working with Microsoft Office. The candidate must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred. Foreign students are not eligible. Duties include, but are not limited to: general office work, light cleaning, assisting with Matsuri organization, update JCCCM website, coordinating seniors’ reunion , etc.
