Rakugo Performance (organized by the Consulate General of Japan in Montreal)
Rakugo is the Japanese art of humoristic storytelling. Its origin dates back to the Edo era (1603-1868) but this type of entertainment remains popular nowadays.
Short rakugo presentation in French followed by a French/Japanese bilingual performance by Cyril Coppini, French rakugo artist who regularly performs in Japan. Both parts are 30 minutes each, for a total event time of one hour.
